Raytheon Nabs $1.26 Billion In Navy Missile Contracts

RTX’s Raytheon [RTX] on Sept. 27 won over $1.26 billion in Navy contracts to build and deliver AIM-9X Sidewinder and Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) Block II Guided Missile Assemblies. Naval Air Systems Command awarded the $737 million Sidewinder contract for production and delivery of AIM-9X production lot 24 requirements. This includes 1,117 AIM-9X Block II All Up Round Tactical Missiles (352 for the Navy, 158 for the Air Force, 15 for the Army, and 592 for Foreign Military Sales (FMS)…
