Raytheon Missiles Intercept During European Exercises

Five of Raytheon’s [RTN] Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs) were used during Thor’s Hammer exercises involving four European nations, the company said Monday. The AMRAAM AIM-120C7s were deployed on F-16s and F/A-18s and on the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS), which was used by Norway and Finland, while Turkey and Switzerland fire the AMRAMS from the fighter jets, Raytheon said.
