Raytheon [RTN] has delivered the first of three SeaVue expanded mission capability (XMC) radars to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in a record time of six months. The first radar will be installed on CBP’s second Guardian unmanned aircraft system, which is a maritime variant of the Predator B. Raytheon will deliver two additional SeaVue XMC radars for installation on P-3 aircraft. The SeaVue XMC reduces operator workload and improves mission efficiency, Raytheon says.
