Rapiscan gets $17M in International Orders for Cargo Inspection Systems

OSI Systems' [OSIS] Rapiscan Systems division has received orders from two undisclosed international customers totaling a combined $17 million for its Eagle Portal high-energy X-Ray and GaRDS (Gamma Ray Detection System) cargo inspection systems. Rapiscan says demand for its Cargo and Vehicle Inspection products is being driven by new regulatory screening mandates, existing customs regulations worldwide, and the need to protect borders.
