Defense electronics company Quantic Electronics on Tuesday said it has acquired Microwave Dynamics, a small company specializing in microwave and millimeter wave components for aerospace, defense and industrial markets.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Quantic is a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management.
Microwave Dynamics’ designs and manufactures free running and phase-locked oscillators, amplifiers, frequency converters and multipliers, and integrated microwave assemblies with applications for air, land, sea and space.
Microwave Dynamics “has established a strong reputation for high-quality, highly reliable oscillator products and aligns perfectly with Quantic’s growing oscillator portfolio,” Ross Sealfon, president and chief operating officer of Quantic, said in a statement.
