NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center to Host Small Business Alliance Meeting April 11 at U.S. Space & Rocket Center

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will share the latest contract opportunities with representatives of large and small businesses, NASA prime contractors and subcontractors at the Marshall Small Business Alliance Meeting on April 11, at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration in Huntsville.

Doors will open at 7 a.m. for registration and the event will take place from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Scheduled speakers include Marshall Associate Director Steve Miley, Madison Mayor Paul Finley, Decatur Mayor Tab Bowling and Director of Marshall’s Office of Procurement Jason Detko.  

Ginger Flores, engineer program manager for the Gateway program; Greg Chavers, formulation manager for the Human Landing System; and Barbara Carson, deputy associate administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration in Washington, will share an overview of their programs. Officials and leaders from the community will also take the stage to share updates from their respective areas.
