HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will officially open its newest, state-of-the-art office building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 22. Members of the Huntsville-area media are invited.

The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. CDT. Scheduled to take part are Marshall Director Jody Singer; U.S. Sen. Doug Jones of Alabama; Col. Joly Sebastien, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District; and Roy Malone, director of Marshall’s Office of Center Operations. A brief media availability will follow at 1:25 p.m.

Building 4221 is situated on the north side of the 4200 Marshall office complex. The facility provides offices and workspace for some 440 team members supporting Marshall’s Human Exploration Development & Operations Office, its Science & Technology Office and the NASA Engineering & Safety Center.
