PR Newswire

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., April 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Kellstrom Defense Aerospace, Inc. (“KDA”) is proud to continue its partnership with the Pat Tillman Foundation for the 15th annual Pat’s Run in Tempe, Arizona on April 27, 2019. The foundation’s mission is to unite and empower remarkable military veterans and spouses as the next generation of public and private sector leaders committed to service beyond self. Pat’s Run is the signature annual fundraiser to honor the legacy of Pat Tillman and to support the foundation’s Tillman Scholars program.

The annual 4.2-mile run/walk winds through the streets of Tempe and finishes at Sun Devil Stadium at the Arizona State University. This is the venue where Pat wore the number 42, as a leader of the Sun Devil football defense, that went to the 1997 Rose Bowl after an undefeated Pac 10 regular season. The Pat Tillman Foundation and Pat’s Run are inspired by the life, principals, and service that are the true legacies of Pat Tillman.

“Kellstrom Defense is proud to continue our support of the Tillman Foundation mission and honor the legacy of Pat Tillman through sponsorship of the 15th Annual Pat’s Run,” commented CEO Chris Celtruda. “I look forward to being personally engaged as a participant on race day in Tempe, Arizona and joining 28,000 people in support of Tillman Scholars who are carrying forward Pat’s legacy.”

The Kellstrom Defense Promise is focused on the core values that define commitment to excellence in support of a business focused on global support of military aircraft maintenance and readiness. The partnership with the Tillman Foundation and employee engagement in Pat’s Run exemplifies the company engagement with veterans in local communities.
