IAFP to Feature Poster Presentation by Remco’s Amit Kheradia

Remco’s Education and Technical Support Manager will present original research on recalls

PR Newswire

ZIONSVILLE, Indiana, July 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Amit Kheradia, education/technical support manager at Remco, will lead a discussion on his academic poster concerning the root causes of FDA food recalls at IAFP this year. Kheradia’s poster contains information from a year-long study following the FDA’s recall entries.

The poster will be on-view in P2-136 on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Kheradia will be available during the poster presentation to talk about the data and conclusions he’s presenting from 10-11:30 am and 5:15-6:15 pm.

Along with information about which industries see the most sanitation-related calls, Kheradia’s research also demonstrates which part of the manufacturing process was likely responsible for the cause of the recall. The full poster will be shown at IAFP, beginning on July 21.

Remco will have representatives at its booth, #239, where they can assist with questions about hygienic design or color-coding in the food processing industry.

The International Association for Food Protection’s Annual Meeting will run from July 21-24 in Louisville, KY. IAFP is dedicated to the idea of promoting food safety through connecting food safety professionals so they can share ideas and learn from each other. The organization has more than 4,000 members from around the globe.
