Cubic Advisory Board Member Recognized on “New Year’s Honours List”

Leon Daniels honored as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced that Leon Daniels, a member of Cubic Transportation Systems‘ (CTS) strategic advisory board, was honored as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) on the 2019 “New Year Honours List.” Part of the British honors system, the “New Year Honours List” recognizes the outstanding achievements of people across the United Kingdom and demonstrates the breadth of service from people of all backgrounds. The titles are given out in the name of the reigning Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

Daniels was honored for his commitment and service to Transport for London (TfL). Prior to his retirement from TfL in December 2017, Daniels was the managing director of surface transport for the organization. He was responsible for the delivery of £3.5 billion of road, light rail and transport services and all major civil engineering infrastructure projects in London.
