Israel’s Plasan said last week that it has acquired a controlling interest in Virginia-based Artis, LLC, a contract research and development firm that develops and produces an armored vehicle protection solution that tracks and defeats incoming rounds. The Iron Curtain Active Protection System is new technology for Plasan’s portfolio of combat-proven passive protection solutions for combat vehicles.
