Orbital ATK, ULA Set For Thursday’s Cargo Resupply Mission

Orbital ATK [OA] and launch provider United Launch Alliance (ULA) are set for Thursday’s launch of Orbital ATK’s Cygnus capsule spacecraft under its NASA Cargo Resupply Services (CRS) contract.The launch is significant as it is Orbital ATK’s first CRS mission since its Antares launch failure in October 2014 at the Mid Atlantic Regional Spaceport on Wallops Island, Va. Orbital ATK contracted ULA for an Atlas V launch vehicle as Antares won’t be ready to return to flight until early 2016.…
