NorthStar Nabs $527 Million Enterprise Carrier Dismantlement Contract

The Navy on Friday awarded a team led by Vermont’s NorthStar Maritime Dismantlement Services LLC a $537 million contract to dismantle, recycle and dispose of the former nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the Ex-Enterpise (CVN-65).  The work is expected to occur in Mobile, Ala., and be finished by November 2029.
