Northrop Grumman [NOC] last week said it has completed its acquisition of geospatial data solutions provider 3001 International, Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Northern Virginia-based 3001 has about 300 employees. 3001 provides geospatial data production and analysis, including airborne imaging, surveying, mapping and geographic information systems for domestic and international government intelligence, defense and civilian customers. The company is now part of Northrop Grumman's Information Technology sector.
