Northrop Grumman [NOC] on Thursday said it has appointed former House Appropriations Committee staffer Tom McLemore to a legislative affairs position in support of cyber security, C4I and space issues, a new position within the company.

McLemore, who previously served as staff director of the House Appropriations Subcommittees on Defense and Homeland Security, has been named vice president of Legislative Affairs for Cybersecurity, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) and Space at Northrop Grumman. He will report to Lesley Kaplan, vice president, Legislative Affairs.

McLemore has also worked as a staffer on several other House Appropriations subcommittees including Treasury and Transportation and served in various financial analyst positions with the Air Force.
