Professional services and systems engineering firm Noblis, Inc., has acquired National Security Partners, LLC (NSP), a provider of strategic consulting and technology development for the intelligence community, giving a Noblis a foundation in cyber security in the intel arena, Noblis said Monday evening.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Noblis provides solutions to the intelligence community.

“NSP has a first class and respected reputation in the cyber intelligence space,” Roger Mason, senior vice president, National Security and Intelligence for Noblis, said in a statement. “As the new cornerstone of Noblis’ cyber intelligence capabilities, we will now be able to integrated NSP’s skills with our other national security capabilities in the areas of overhead/airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, identity intelligence, counter weapons of mass destruction, big data analytics, homeland security, and the agile development of law enforcement information technology systems.”

NSP’s senior management will remain with the company and it will operate as a subsidiary reporting to Mason.

Noblis did not disclose NSP’s sales or employees numbers. NSP’s customers include the National Security Agency (NSA), United States Cyber Command, and the CIA.

NSP, which is based in Maryland near the NSA and Cyber Command, was owned by two private equity firms, FedCap Partners and Waud Capital Partners. The company did not use a financial adviser on the sale.
