More than two years ago, the Government Accountability Office advised that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) ensure that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) develop performance goals and metrics for maximizing commercial imagery. The September 2022 study also recommended that DNI ensure that NGA delineates roles and responsibilities for commercial remote sensing analytics.
