Navy’s Triton Makes Fourth Flight

The Navy and Northrop Grumman [NOC] conducted the fourth flight test of the MQ-4C Triton unmanned aerial vehicle on Aug. 14, reaching half the number of tests planned for the early stages of the program inn Palmdale, Calif. The Tritons, a variant of the Air Force's Global Hawk, eventually will be deployed to provide high-altitude long-endurance maritime intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance missions.
