Navy Looks Into More Low Cost Unmanned Vessel Prototypes

A recent Navy notice said it plans to soon issue a Request For Solutions (RFS) for two sizes of low cost unmanned maritime vessel prototypes.  The notice described this as tied to the need for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division to support the maritime domain portfolio of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for prototyping and experimentation (P&E).
