Navy Investigates Industry Partnership To Create New Aircraft Carrier Dry Dock On West Coast

The Navy is looking into working with industry to potentially create a Ford-class aircraft carrier dry dock on the West Coast and Hawaii, according to a recent notice. In the Oct. 15 Request for Information (RFI), the Navy’s Program Executive Office Industrial Infrastructure (PEO II) said it is requesting “information on interest, timing, business arrangement, financial structure, and cost sharing to have a FORD-class aircraft carrier capable dry dock available for use by the Navy on the West Coast of…
