
The Navy has awarded DRS Technologies Inc. three contracts with a potential value of more than $170 million, the company said Monday.The company will provide hardware, assembly, integration and testing of its Common Display System (CDS) Technology Insertion -12—a digital display system for surface ships—under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The initial award is worth $15 million, but options could push its value to $96 million.CDS can operate on Zumwalt-(DDG-1000) and Arleigh Burke-class (DDG-51) destroyers, guided missile cruisers, aircraft carriers…
