NavSea Plans Limited Competition for CREW 3.1 Systems

The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to conduct a limited competition between ITT Corp. [ITT], Northrop Grumman [NOC], and Sierra Nevada Corp. to procure 200 Dismounted Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (CREW) 3.1 systems, and long lead time material with an option for up to 2,300 additional systems. All three companies previously received contracts to the production, test and evaluation of Dismounted Crew 3.1 Systems. A Request for Proposal is expected to be issued during the fourth quarter…
