Michigan Group forms Network to Boost Homeland Security Business

The Michigan Security Network, an alliance of 16 Michigan companies, universities and other groups, has been created to accelerate technology development, investment and jobs for the state in the homeland security sector. The three main areas of focus are cyber security, border security and bio-defense. The Michigan Security Network will help any business in the state identify critical technology needs within those sectors and coordinate a virtual business accelerator with existing university research and development centers.
