The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) successfully conducted the fourth Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IIA intercept test on Friday, called Flight Test Standard Missile-45 (FTM-45), following two failures.This latest test had a medium-range ballistic target missile launched from the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, Hawaii.
