Lockheed Martin Business Lays Off 308 Employees To Drive Affordability

Citing the need to improve efficiency and affordability, Lockheed Martin’s [LMT] Mission Systems & Sensors (MS2) business on Tuesday said it is laying off 308 employees. The lay offs come on the heels of 432 MS2 employees electing to voluntarily leave the company in May under a voluntary layoff program. The company said the layoffs, which reduce the total MS2 workforce by about 5 percent, are aimed at improving results for its customers and not due to the looming threat…
