L-3 Communications [LLL] on Monday said it has appointed long-time aerospace and defense analyst to the new position of vice president and chief analytics officer in support of the company’s business development and merger and acquisitions strategy.Wood joined L-3 from aircraft structures manufacturer Spirit AeroSystems [SPR], which she joined in July 2013 as senior vice president for strategy, working on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operational and cost performance, and investor relations.At L-3 Wood is reporting to Chris Kubasik, the company’s…
