L-3 Communications Sweeps Nearly $2 Billion To Continue Logistics Work At Fort Rucker

L-3 Communications [LLL] will continue maintenance and logistics work under a contract with an estimated value of $1.98 billion, with a one-year base period and four one-year options for rotary-wing aircraft support at Fort Rucker, Ala. Under the contract issued by Army Contracting Command--Redstone on behalf of Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM), L-3 said it will provide maintenance, logistics and other related sustainment support for over 600 helicopters used by the Army Aviation Center of Excellence…
