L-3 Acquires SatCom Firm 3Di Technologies

L-3 Communications [LLL] said this week that it has acquired 3Di Technologies, LLC, a provider of end-to-end satellite communications for forward deployed U.S. Special Operations and in-theater personnel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Maryland-based 3Di has 53 employees and is expected to have about $40 million in sales this year.
