L-1 Introduces Biometric-based Access Control Products

L-1 Identity Solutions [ID] has introduced two biometric-based access control systems, one a card reader to meet the requirements for Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and the other a suite of reader products for improved interoperability and scalability. The TWIC-Station is capable of reading a wide range of secure government credentials based on the FIPS 201 standard including TWIC, PIV and Common Access Card endpoint cards.
