Kratos Defense & Security Solutions [KTOS] last month said it has completed its purchase of Integral Systems, boosting its defense electronics capabilities in space-related communications. The deal follows Kratos’ purchase earlier this year of defense electronics firm Herley Industries. Integral Systems’ signal processing systems are used by about 80 percent of United States’ space missions and its products support about 75 percent of commercial geostationary satellite operators. The acquisition is in line with Kratos’ strategy of bolstering its C5ISR business.…
