ITT Exelis Acquires Commercial Power Supplies Firm

ITT Exelis [XLS] recently said it has acquired a small United Kingdom-based company, Applied Kilovolts, which designs and produces high voltage power supplies for the scientific instrumentation market in Britain, Europe and the United States, in a small deal that expands the company’s non-government business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Applied Kilovolts had $13.2 million in sales last year.
