ITT Corp. [ITT] said it has been chosen by European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. (EADS) Defence & Security (DS) division to provide its SpearNet radio system for the Full-Scale Engineering Development (FSED) phase of Spain's Combatiente del Futuro (COMFUT), a comprehensive military modernization program. The SpearNet radio will provide the backbone for voice, data and video communications for the Spanish army.
