ITT Awarded $49.5 Million JTRS Software Support Contract

ITT [ITT] was recently awarded a potential $49.5 million contract by the Joint Program Executive Office for the Joint Tactical Radio System (JPEO JTRS) to provide Software In-Service Support (SwISS) for the JTRS Bowman Waveform (JBW). "ITT has been an industry leader in working with the JPEO JTRS International Program to create communications interoperability between the United States and its allies to support mission success and safety," Chris Bernhardt, president of ITT's electronic systems business, said in a statement.
