Iraq Requests $97 Million in Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems

The State Department has approved a possible $97 million Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Iraq for Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems (APKWS) and assorted equipment, parts, and logistical support. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on Nov. 12. BAE Systems would be the primary contractor.
