Iraq Requests $1.4 Billion In FMS Equipment

Iraq potentially wants to buy approximately $1.389 billion in Foreign Military Sales of various vehicles, small arms and ammunition, communication equipment, medical equipment, clothing and individual equipment as well as associated equipment and services, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress March 12. Iraq wants the possible sale of (700) M1151 Humvee armored gun trucks, 4,000 AN/PVS-7D night vision devices, and 100,000 M16A4 assault rifles.
