Implant Sciences Corp. [IMSC] says its handheld Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 explosive trace detector was used in a pilot project for event security at the U.S. Open golf championship at Pebble Beach, Calif., last week. The device was deployed at the main security checkpoint as part of a security pilot conducted with the support of the screening firm Andy Frain Services. “During the U.S. Open we will be collaborating with Implant Sciences to collect data on how the Quantum Sniffer can provide an additional layer of security at this kind of very high profile event,” says David Clayton, president of Andy Frain Services.
