Illinois Provides Small Grants to Two Firms

The Homeland Security Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (HSIEC) at Northwestern Univ. has awarded state-funded challenge grants of $5,000 each to two Illinois firms: Cogent Innovations and Lisle Technology Partners. The grants must be matched and also include coaching, management assistance, product development and technology commercialization advice, market intelligence and access to angel and venture capital.
