Huntington Ingalls Industries [HII] on Thursday said it has acquired S.M. Stoller Corp., which provides environmental, nuclear and technical consulting services to the federal government and private sector, providing it with capabilities in adjacent markets. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. HII called it a strategic deal that positions it "for expanded growth within the Department of Energy, environmental management, and commercial nuclear services markets."
