Hospital Expands Testing of Defentect’s Radiation Detection System

After a successful pilot-test of radiation detection technology to monitor the potential ingress of radiologically contaminated patients into a medical facility, the Washington Hospital Center is expanding the project to include more sensors and to evaluate how they work in a networked configuration and also to guard against the potential egress of radiological materials from the hospital.
