Harris Says It’s Not Pursuing Sale

Harris Corp. [HRS] on Sunday said that it is not pursing a merger or sale of the company following media reports and speculation last month that first indicated that the communications firm was on the block and later that bids were below expectations. Harris said that from "time to time" other companies express an interest in acquiring the firm or making other types of transactions.
