Georgia Ports Select Datastrip ID Verification Device

The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) has selected Datastrip, Inc.'s, DSVII-SC biometric and card reader to validate worker ID cards at the Port of Savannah. The company is supplying 25 of the handheld units to the port, which will use them at various gates to ensure that the workers' cards are valid. The device weighs two pounds and is weather resistant to wet and dry conditions and is also drop resistant.
