General Dynamics [GD] NASSCO yesterday said it has been awarded a $104 million Navy contract modification to renovate and modernize the dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45). The company received funding in April to begin Comstock modifications and began performing onboard renovation and modernization activities in May.
