GD Launches Another Virginia-Class Submarine

General Dynamics' Electric Boat [GD] recently launched the next Virginia-class submarine, the future USS Idaho (SSN-799), Naval Sea Systems Command said Tuesday. The float off into the Thames River at GD EB’s shipyard in Groton, Conn., occurred on Aug. 6.
