GD Increases Dividend, Share Repurchase Authority

General Dynamics [GD] on Wednesday said it is increasing its quarterly dividend and boosting its share repurchase program.The new quarterly dividend of 76 cents per share, payable to shareholders on May 6, is a 10 percent increase over the current 69 cent dividend and represents the company’s 19th consecutive annual dividend increase.The company’s board also authorized management to repurchase up to an additional 10 million shares of outstanding common stock on the open market.
