GD Completes Purchase of Fortress Technologies

General Dynamics [GD] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of secure wireless network equipment maker Fortress Technologies, giving it wireless local area networking capabilities for tactical battlefield applications. Terms of the deal, which was announced last month, were not disclosed (Defense Daily, June 15).
