CGI Federal Inc. (CGI), a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc. [GIB], recently said it received a $143 million contract to support the core functions of the operational environment for the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2).

The contract, issued by the Mission Installation Contracting Command Mission Contracting Office–Fort Eustis, is a one-year base contract with two one-year option periods, included in the $143 million in funding.

CGI will deliver a range of analytical and technical services across 12 broad task areas, including training operations management; support for Information, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) integration; and data analysis, and modeling.

CGI’s work will support all TRADOC G2 major support organizations, Centers of Excellence, Army schools, and Army Combat Training Centers located across the U.S.

“We are proud to expand our partnership with TRADOC,” said Barb Fast, CGI vice president for Army & Defense Intelligence Programs. “The TRADOC G2 requires sophisticated capabilities in technology and training–rooted in deep mission understanding–in order to prepare Soldiers for the complex operational environments they face today and tomorrow.”
