GAO Denies SAIC’s Protest Of $4.8 Billion GIG Award To Lockheed Martin

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) Monday denied SAIC’s [SAI] protest of a $4.6 billion Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) award to Lockheed Martin [LMT] to manage its Global Information Grid (GIG) networks and related services. GAO Managing Associate General Counsel for Procurement Law Ralph White confirmed the denial Tuesday in a statement. The development was first reported by Bloomberg Government.
