GAO: DoD Backing of ‘Innovation’ and Fast Fielding Yet to Pay Dividends

While the Pentagon has backed innovative approaches, such as Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA) and commercial paths, to help speed fielding, the DoD efforts thus far are insufficient, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) said in a new report.
