Freedom’s Crew Makes Repairs To Leaking Lube Oil Coolers

By Geoff Fein The USS Freedom, the Navy's first Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) made a brief stop in Port Huron, Mich., to repair leaking lube oil coolers on two of the four diesel engines, the Navy said. Those engines drive electrical generators that provide electrical power for the ship, according to the Navy.
