FLIR Acquires Spanish Sensor Networking Firm

FLIR Systems [FLIR] on recently said it has acquired Spain's Ifara Tecnologias, a developer and supplier of middleware and client application software used to network sensor systems, for $11.1 million in cash. FLIR, which has been partnering with Ifara for several years, said the company's technology will help its customers seamlessly integrate a wide variety of sensors for any project.
